QUIZ: How much can you remember from Liverpool’s historic 2020?

2020 has produced exhilarating highs and more than enough debilitating lows. But from a Liverpool perspective, it’s been joyous, pulsating, nerve-wracking, awe-inspiring, and memorable in equal measure.

The year’s first match saw Liverpool put on a magnificent all-round display that saw Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder wax lyrical about Jurgen Klopp’s side. 12 months later, the two are exchanging verbal barbs on a weekly basis. 2020 for you folks, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We saw a continuation of one of the greatest home streaks English football has ever seen. Clean sheets were harvested on a weekly basis as Dutch colossus Virgil van Dijk marshalled his well-drilled defence into a lean, mean, attack-breaking machine.

The goals continued to flow for spectacular forward pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as both sought the golden boot, and lest we forget, there was the small matter of a 30-year Premier League heartbreak coming to a satisfying end.

The scenes of captain Jordan Henderson hoisting high into the air the one trophy that had eluded Liverpool will live long in the memory of all who call the Reds their club.

But how much of this most historic of years do you remember? Time to find out. And remember, no cheating and don’t forget to share your results on social media!
